Today I learn something from my girlfriends that I have never realized before.
If you are married or in a de facto relationship for even just 6 months, the other partner is able to claim your assets when you are seperated I always know that but I never knew the other party can claim that asset you bought before your were married. Unless the assets is in the name of family trust. De facto relationship can be as short as 6 months to make that all possible. Perhaps it’s better not to get divorced. Or just don’t get married. It’s a little sad and surprised to hear about her experience. But it’s so good to see her fly high and wide now. #wisdomfrommygirlfriends Comments are closed.
