Alex basically looks exactly the same. I taught her since she was in Wenona School in year 9. She is now 22 and looking exactly the same as she was 16.
I always have old kids contacting me and I always take them to eat Din Tai Fong which is the national food of Taiwan. Kids who have been to din tai fong a few times with me I will then change to somewhere else.
This is Alex’s first time so I said to her let’s meet up after her work at city. Alex does coding. The cool journey of how she gets into coding is another fascinating story. She basically quits her psychology at University due to disappointment of tertiary education and teaches herself about coding. With all the networking opportunity she lands a very challenging job.
Sometimes we learn from the kids too. She is such an organic girl eating vegan, doing yoga and mediation and enjoys walks and nature. All those things I don’t even do that much at this age. She told me the quotes she likes from John Lennon that you plan first and then life happens to you.
The sense of calmness in such young lady is incredible.
I love these kids. I told all my kids that after you leave me you can contact me anytime I will make sure I take you to the best food in Sydney. I always love to see you kids growing up and be valuable citizen to the society. That’s my proud teacher moment.
