Saw the speech from Jim Kwik the other day. It was indeed an amazing speech.
He was talking about 10 things that will improve your life straight away. I was quite fascinated with what he said and pull over the car and note down immediately.
1. Good brain diet
Avocado, salmon, tumeric tea ..etc
I noticed since I have been ordering in youfoodz/lite and easy I am really not eating enough of fresh veges and fishes. Look like there is room for improvement.
2.Automatic Negative Thoughts.
How good are you managing your self talk. Do you say, I look too fat? I am ok on this one. I always think I am pretty awesome (while others just roll their eyes haha)
Actually I said I have bad memeory all the time which is really not very helpful.
This one i am good. I dance, Kungfu and Hopkido I can fight like a soldier. Plus swimming and walking. I do think my massive energy comes purely from all these physical exercises.
4. Brain nutrition
I only take lutein for the eyes. what about you?
5. Positive peer group
oh yes. i have the best people around me
6. Clean Environment
I am an organised freak. Its good. And we are in Sydney. We are very lucky. Its the best in the world.
7-8 hours a day plus 30 min nap daily. I don't think anyone can beat this record.
But when I am stressed I have trouble sleeping. These days I found the track of weightless from spotify is very useful .
8. Brain Protection
turn off your phone when you sleep. Protect your brain.
9. New Learnings
I have quite a hunger for learning. This week I go to Drum lesson, podcast production training, flamenco dance class and Hopkido workshop. That's probably enough.
10. Stress Management
I like the book I read recently called "The one thing". only focus on one thing at a time.
